Stephanie Olsson has successfully represented clients through a vast array of complex legal matters throughout the Circuit Courts of Cook County, DuPage, McHenry and Lake Counties. Ms. Olsson's family law experience is extremely diversified in that Ms. Olsson has represented clients with highly valued personal businesses, retirement accounts and pension programs but also, represented clients with modest estates. Child custody matters have become more litigious in the recent years and Ms. Olsson understands how to comfort a client through the emotional process and achieve desired results. In addition to family law cases, Ms. Olsson represents numerous clients before the Illinois Secretary of State to petition for driver's license reinstatement and instructs other attorneys on the subject. Ms. Olsson spends countless hours with a Secretary of State client and will not proceed to hearing until the client feels comfortable. Many of the Illinois Secretary of State cases stem from prior criminal clients. Ms. Olsson has represented criminal clients charged with misdemeanors and felonies in jury trials, bench trials and at hearings before the Court. Ms. Olsson's civil work has included depositions and arbitrations.
